Mr Caras Topham, the famous violin maker from Radley College, Nr Oxford.

Hey this picture was drawn for a very famous person named Caras Topham who lived in Radley Nr Oxford. I sat opposite him in his studio. He was world famous as a violin maker. He lived opposite when I worked for David Harmsworth Graphic Services. The head designer at Austin Rover.

I don't think he even knew I was drawing him. Such was his concentration. My Mum has had the artwork for years framed on her wall at home.
